Purpose of the Diagnostic Review
The Technical Diagnostic Review exists to replace guesswork with structured technical evaluation.
The diagnostic process is intended to:
- inspect reported problems carefully
- identify likely causes
- assess technical risk
- determine repair feasibility
- establish scope before implementation work begins
What the Diagnostic Includes
Depending on the situation, a diagnostic review may include:
- WordPress inspection
- plugin and theme conflict review
- performance inspection
- WooCommerce operational review
- server or hosting observations
- error log review
- email or SMTP review
- DNS observations
- update and compatibility review
- security observations
- infrastructure assessment
The diagnostic process varies depending on access level and system condition.
What the Diagnostic Does Not Include
Unless explicitly agreed:
- repair implementation
- malware removal
- development work
- redesign work
- server administration
- custom software engineering
- guaranteed root-cause confirmation
- guaranteed recovery outcomes
The diagnostic is an investigative and operational assessment service.
Diagnostic Deliverables
Where applicable, clients may receive:
- written findings
- operational observations
- risk summaries
- repair recommendations
- scoped implementation estimates
- maintenance recommendations
The level of detail may vary depending on scope and system accessibility.
Access Requirements
Diagnostics may require temporary access to:
- WordPress admin
- hosting accounts
- staging systems
- DNS providers
- FTP/SFTP
- server logs
- related third-party systems
Limited access may reduce diagnostic accuracy.
Operational Reality
WordPress ecosystems are highly variable.
Some environments contain:
- unsupported plugins
- abandoned themes
- undocumented modifications
- unstable hosting environments
- layered plugin conflicts
- existing compromise indicators
As a result, diagnostics are based on observable evidence available during review.
Follow-Up Work
If repair work is appropriate, a separate implementation scope may be proposed after the diagnostic review is completed.
Clients are not obligated to proceed with repair implementation after the diagnostic stage.
